During my stay, I loved being just over 2 km from the lush greenery of Town Moor and only a short walk away from the incredible Gateshead Millennium Bridge, making my city strolls enjoyable and memorable. the room was beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was exceptional too, which made it feel like a real escape despite being on a work trip.

It was just a decent option for a brief stop-in in Newcastle upon Tyne with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast was quite good, though starting a bit late at 7am, but overall, it did the trick for me. For future visitors, be prepared to ask for extra towels and other supplies, as they seem to be a bit sparse.

had an amazin 2 night stay at the great north hotel. location was perfect, close to the city centre but super quiet. the deluxe double room was always clean, and the shower was legit the best ive ever used. the reception staff were really nice and knew a lot about local eats. i loved the free high-quality toiletries they had too!

More lighting options in the room would be appreciated!!! The noise from the nearby pub area made conversation difficult, especially during dinner hours. Closing the attached bar at 10 pm felt oddly early !!!
