During my stay, I loved being just over 2 km from the lush greenery of Town Moor and only a short walk away from the incredible Gateshead Millennium Bridge, making my city strolls enjoyable and memorable. the room was beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was exceptional too, which made it feel like a real escape despite being on a work trip.

The gluten-free dishes were a cracking find! Don’t miss the beautiful decor and outstanding cleanliness of the Junior Suite. Staff truly went above and beyond with a warm welcome.
Had a bit of a bother with the noisy party next door and breakfast wasn’t what I expected—room for a cheeky melon bowl, but ended up with a doorstep wedge.

Immaculate Deluxe Double Room, but I experienced noise from a neighboring party.

It was just a decent option for a brief stop-in in Newcastle upon Tyne with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast was quite good, though starting a bit late at 7am, but overall, it did the trick for me. For future visitors, be prepared to ask for extra towels and other supplies, as they seem to be a bit sparse.

I had a pleasant two-night stay at Great North. The location is ideal, being close to the city center yet quietly situated. My Deluxe Double Room was immaculate, featuring an exceptional shower. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations for local dining options. I particularly appreciated the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom, which added a nice touch to my experience.
I encountered some issues with noise from a nearby party that disrupted my sleep.

spotless bathroom, easy parking, cozy atmosphere
More lighting options in the room would be appreciated!!! The noise from the nearby pub area made conversation difficult, especially during dinner hours. Closing the attached bar at 10 pm felt oddly early !!!
